It all started in the very beginning of our Real Estate Career together. Because we are a team working together to better service our clients, we often work side by side with our clients when showing houses, listing homes, open houses etc. As we developed good relationships with our clients the question that always came up was,
“Are you two a couple?”

In reality we are Shane and Janelle, 15 year friends/comrades/the dynamic duo/the brother and sister neither of us had/friends for life and now “the Odd Couple”, doing business as Realtors together.

Our relationship extends far beyond our real-estate partnership. We met fifteen years ago at Winona State and have been best friends ever since. We often describe our friendship as “the brother and sister neither of us ever had.” Professionally speaking, however, our mission in real estate is to be your realtors for life. We work hard to earn trust and repeat business while ensuring that the home-buying/selling process is as easy and stress-free as possible for you and your family.

We can meet your real estate needs in any geographic area of the Twin Cities, but we each also have our own particular areas of specialization. Between the two of us, we know Mpls./St. Paul inside and out. Shane has a large knowledge base of western and northwestern suburbs and since Janelle grew up in the southeastern suburbs, she has extensive knowledge of these metro regions.
Overall, we are full time realtors who are local, present and easy to get along with, offering over 10 years of knowledge and experience as Realtors.

So began the inside joke…

Our response became, “No, we’re not a couple, and no we’re not married, but we are an"odd couple."
